Brian Zilch - Secretary/Treasurer

Brian Zilch has, over the past 25 years, become integrally woven into the construction fabric of Greater Cincinnati. His name and reputation have become synonymous with quality buildings and he is looked to for guidance by many in the local construction community. His"big picture" understanding of building systems, their components and the quality of design as well as his ability to value engineer just about any project make him indispensable to the building process. His goal is to consistently deliver the best value to the client, insuring a smooth transition from the design phase through the construction phase and on to completion.

Brian was born in Peoria, Illinois in 1953 to Dr. & Mrs. Karl T. Zilch. The family soon moved to the Cincinnati area where Brian attended St. Xavier High School graduating with honors in 1972. He attended the University of Cincinnati College of Engineering, earning a Bachelors of Science in Engineering with emphases on civil and mechanical engineering.

Fresh out of school, Brian accepted a position for Beck Arabia in Saudi Arabia where he spent two years. Moving stateside, he formed a construction company in Dallas, Texas. He has since worked for the area's largest developers in the positions of VP and President of Construction. It was during his tenure at a local developer that he met Mark Davis. Brian & Mark have worked together to direct and manage the successful completion of over 200 design build projects totaling over $400 million in the ten years they have been working together.

Since 2001, Mark and Brian have dedicated much of their time to the design & construction of hotel, office, industrial and church projects.

Brian manages all construction and land development for HiFive and is intimately involved with every project. He also manages accounting for the company. Brian, his wife Barbi, and their three children, Jonathan, Andrew & Abby live in the Indian Hill area.
