Mark Davis has invested two decades of his career in the arena of architecture and construction. He has a particular passion for the built environment and a deep appreciation
for good design. His entire professional development has occurred in the Greater Cincinnati Area where he has cultivated many relationships.
Born in Bilaspur, India, 1954 to missionary parents, Dr. and Mrs. Donald R. Davis, Mark grew up in India and the Philippine Islands. His family located to Cincinnati in
1970 where he graduated from Deer Park High School in 1972.
Mark then attended the University of Cincinnati where he earned a degree in Chemistry in 1976. He worked for Procter & Gamble in the MVL Research Facility for four
years as a junior chemist.
Mark then enrolled and studied eight years at the UC College of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning where he received his BArch. Mark became a registered architect in
the State of Ohio in 1990, the Commonwealth of Kentucky in 1995 and the Commonwealth of Virginia in 2002. He also holds a Certificate from the National Council of
Architectural Registration Boards.
Having worked for local architecture firms and developers for 20 years Mark has successfully bridged the gap from academia to real world design and construction. He has
personally designed, signed and sealed over 250 constructed commercial projects totaling close to $400 million. His tenure at local, large developers has been as president
of their respective design divisions. The past thirteen years of his professional life have been spent working closely with his partner in HiFive, Brian Zilch.
Since 1993, Mark and Brian have dedicated much of their time to the design & construction of hotel, office, industrial and church projects. Some of Mark's current affiliations

Mark manages all aspects of design and sales for HiFive and is intimately involved with every project. Mark, his wife, Leah, and their three children, Tara, Summer & Zane,
