Wendi Lakes

Chief Financial Officer

Wendi Lakes joined HiFive in 2015 as a Controller with over twenty years of Accounting & Finance experience in a variety of business environments. Her financial leadership and work ethic earned her a promotion to CFO in 2020. Wendi has previous experience improving financial processes and reporting, and initiating cost savings and efficiencies. Wendi has also been in financial leadership positions in other industry sectors, including property management, construction, manufacturing, and distribution.

Wendi loves the dynamic nature of the construction industry, where every day presents a new challenge and opportunity to make a difference with a tangible product.

She has been involved with several volunteer organizations such as Habitat for Humanity, Greater Cincinnati Fall Feast, Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, and Cincinnati Red Cross.

Wendi received her BS in Accounting from Northern Kentucky University, and her MBA from Xavier University. She is currently a member of The Construction Financial Management Association.
