HiFive was referred to CLC by an acquaintance at Patterson Park Church. HiFive had recently completed a successful project at Patterson Park, and they were happy to endorse HiFive.
HiFive team members worked directly with CLC leadership to gain as much knowledge about the church’s needs as possible. This led to discussions on whether it was in CLC’s best long-term interest to renovate their existing building or build a new worship center.
CLC wanted to double the size of their current sanctuary, greatly enhance the look of the campus from I-70, use stadium seating for better visibility, and implement strategic lighting to make the room comfortable for various groups. In addition, CLC had a long list of priorities and they wanted to do things right. To name a few, their list included features like: a hidden baptismal pool on-stage; professional lighting with catwalk; well-balanced acoustics; large side and center media screens; and more.
HiFive designed a complete campus plan that went through several renditions in order to create the most efficient project possible while meeting all of CLC’s needs. The result is a stunning contemporary design that will stand the test of time, both architecturally and functionally. Construction began this Spring and will take around one year to complete.
