08 Dec Groundbreaking: Dual Brand Marriott in Beavercreek
A ceremony was held at Fairfield Commons of Beavercreek to commemorate the groundbreaking of a new 160-guest room, dual-brand hotel on Thursday, December 7, 2023.
This project will house two Marriott hotel brands within its walls: a Fairfield Inn & Suites and Towneplace Suites. The hotel will be 4-stories tall and over 90,000 square feet upon completion. The site is the former parking lot of Sears, the giant retailer which filed for Chapter 11 and closed the store in 2018. It also happens to be located next to two other HiFive-built hotels! HiFive is serving as both the designer and builder of this project.
Construction is expected to be completed fourth quarter of 2025.
With it’s close proximity to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base as well as multiple business and retail hotspots, the Greater Dayton area has quickly become a sought-after area for local hotel developers.
